The Common Good

 

Fighting for a country

Ten-thousand kilometers away

While our borders are left open

To terrorist cells and cartel gangs

The time is up and coming

To inject another strain

They don’t care about regretting

You should take it anyway

Listen only to our music

For it hasn’t got a soul

Heavy beats have gone electric 

Set the frequency down low

In a land of psycho-killers

“Iranians” are everywhere 

From shooting presidents to children 

But white coat gremlins don’t despair

You’ve killed more on earth already

Than just Muslims in the sand

I’m not sure how you are vetting

The vaccine sick throughout the land

Now for those that have been prepping

We find it really isn’t fair

That you’re hoarding while we’re hungry

We think that everyone should share

I know we never chose to listen

And with our mandates did we rob

But we’re not doing any better

And have a hard time finding jobs

After living life without it

I wasn’t thinking as I should

I can see the fight for freedom’s

Not always for the common good
