Revenge of the Nerds

 

In high school, when it comes to their peers, it’s a sort of “Lord of the Flies” environment where the jocks and bullies knock around the nerds with brains, taking their lunch money and pushing them into lockers, all to the derisive laughter of the student body that surrounds them.

But after high school, the students are then thrown into a system in which the rules have changed.  Now it’s the nerds running the show with the jocks and bullies providing for their security and enforcement of their will. 

Which brings us to two characters now running our lives that could be used as the quintessential portrait of nerds:  Bill Gates and Anthony Fauci.

What these two eugenicists have in common is their obvious hatred towards humanity.  Simply put, they want us dead.

It’s my guess that all the indignities these men suffered in their youth at the hands of their classmates had much to do with how they turned out. 

Even though I played sports in high school, I never picked on the nerds.  But I didn’t protect them either.

We create our own monsters.
