Logic and reason agree, Adaline. Perhaps the mercy of whatever hand has held back the tidal wave thus far will regenerate the hearts of the masses. Otherwise, those without them will show us no mercy.

I'm sure this goes deeper than we are told. CIA probably has backdoor access in collusion with the car companies and the technology to hack our cars is much more extensive than we are led to believe.
