Naked Emperor

There are so many indicators of a collapsing empire that all of the threads cannot be followed.  

The most brutal form of organized and sociably acceptable violence in sports in America today are the cage matches.

The contestants inside the cage are there to beat each other to a bloody pulp and fight until their opponent's submission puts an end to it.

America has long since outlawed the use of animals in the same way as the cage fighters including betting on the outcomes.  If you want to know why life has become so cheap, why would we not take a closer look at what passes for entertainment these days?

In the middle of the recent gathering at the UFC, Trump walks into the arena to the cheering of the crowds.  

A veteran of such spectacles, even he looked a little embarrassed by it all.  Less we forget, Trump "made his bones" by previously performing with professional wrestling.  He's actually been inducted into their Hall of Fame.  

The blood-thirsty spectators are Trumps biggest fans. And as an added bonus, they will soon realize what it's like to be thrown into the cage themselves.  But in their case, they will get to use an assortment of weapons on each other--that is until the professional gladiators and their machines come to clean up the mess at the end.  

Let's just hope that their naked Emperor won't give them the thumbs down when their time comes.
