Martian Paradise

 

An alien spacecraft hovers over Earth, completely hidden from detection by an other-worldly cloaking device. 

Alien #1: "What are those foolish Earthlings down there doing today?"

Alien #2: "It appears that their governments across the planet have convinced them into being injected with a bioweapon in order to cull the population.  There are a number of groups approaching terminal madness, where they want their government to enforce vaccine mandates intended to sterilize, maim and kill them.  

Alien #1: "Haven't enough of the humanoid life-forms refused the vaccine to put a stop to it due to those dropping dead all around them?"

Alien #2: "Most who have been vaccinated still don't want to admit what they have done to themselves and their progeny.  Their authorities have led them into the abyss.  Most have no inner connection with the Creator and are therefore easily led astray by charlatans."  

Alien #1: "Have you determined what sort of government the humanoids have made for themselves?"

Alien #2: "They are currently in a transitional phase where their leaders and influencers are planning to live well while most others will have a life of drudgery, escapism and dependency.  

Alien #1: "Slave planet."

Alien #2: "Yes.  And their species has discovered the grand paradox.  When the elements of a planet are utilized properly, they are capable of destroying the very planet in which they reside.  As with their own species, both the healing and destructive qualities are contained within the vessel.  It all comes down to what it serves.  Failure to respect the laws of nature results in the devolution back to the laws of the jungle.  

Their own enforcers will clean up the mess afterwards, resulting in total subjugation.  It's a story as old as habitable planets.  They come and they go."  

Alien #1: "Do you think that there will be anything left to harvest on this dying rock after the Earthlings have finished with it?"

Alien #2: "I doubt it.  I recommend seeking our resources elsewhere as there will be little left to salvage after the nuclear fallout."

Alien #1: "I'll notify headquarters that it's time to move on.  It's sad really...just another "Martian paradise."
