It could've been a preacher

It could've been a Pope

It could've been a doctor giving you the "rope-a-dope"

It could've been a president or just a talk-show host

It could've been a teacher telling you a silly joke

It could've been an entertainer or anybody else

Who was it that convinced you not to listen to yourself?

It could've been a gambler

It could've been a fool

It could've been a technocrat or just another tool

It could've been an acquaintance 

It could've been a friend

It could've been a threat by those who wouldn't let you in

It could've been a bankster

It could've been a whore

It could've been some people who don't live here anymore

Taking orders from the invisible is the only way we can be saved

Those locked inside the outside world will live and die as slaves

Freedom is an inside job
