Give Us Barabbas

Religion is just like the rest of our institutions. It consists of enough truth to pull you in but there is something malevolent at its core. If you don’t have anything inside you to know the difference, you will be manipulated by those who do. They are conscious of the path they have chosen as most are not. This is why they continue to have their way with us.

The story of Barabbas can be applied to those in modern America. Barabbas was an insurrectionist fighting against Rome who had been convicted of murder. And yet the mob traded the life of Jesus and this man was released from prison.

Looks to me like the mob is at it again.

Those who participated in and supported the genocide of millions in the Middle East due to believing the lies of their government are now beginning to understand that they are also on the hit list. And they are starting to tell their government that they know it.

Because of their unwillingness to admit to the instrumental role they played to get us here, there is no good fighting against evil. There is only evil and the victor will be of little consequence to those left alive. They will still be slaves ruled by tyrants.

The way of Christ is indeed the way out. What do you think Jesus would say about pre-emptive strikes on countries based upon lies?

No, Barabbas served a different god than that one. His behavior tells me that he was a servant of Yahweh.

This makes perfect sense when you think about it. A bully who doesn’t have to live by his own rules is the perfect god for those who wish to justify their aggression upon others. But in order to serve one, you must crucify the other.

This is the schism of Christianity that can never be resolved and remains covered under a blanket of cognitive dissonance.

You really can’t serve two masters. Unless a conscious choice is made to serve the spirit of one over the other, you’re left with the default setting where both are used as interchangeable parts depending upon the excuses sought by those running from themselves.

Here’s a line you can count on: “You will know them by their fruits.” Your god lives under this same rule also. The real one has no problem with it because he made it and is an example of the positive side of it.

The other one doesn’t like it because he’s an imposter.
